MicroBT’s M50 series has evolved into a sort of response to Bitmain’s rivals, who also introduced new products in their range at the end of 2021. Both firms’ new hardware is built on brand-new semiconductors created by Samsung using “5 nanometer” technology. They provide a 15% boost in workflow efficiency while reducing the size of the miner and the buildup of heat during operation.

This model’s and the other hardware in this line’s mining algorithm is SHA-256. This means that you may mine LCC, BCH, BTC, and other widely used cryptocurrencies using the Whatsminer M50 series.

Outside, there are also two large fans that are clearly visible and are in charge of blowing air in and out to cool the gear. With the exception of changes to the power supply, the M50S 130 TH is essentially identical to the hardware of the previous generation. Due to its loud noise, this model, like the vast majority of other miners, should not be situated close to a residential area.
